1.Free Shipping?

I will ship house portraits to anywhere in the continental U.S. for free. Unfortunately at this time I can not accept international orders. Orders are shipped through the United States Post Office.

2. How long will it take to get my order?

After placing you order for your house portraits it will normally take 4 weeks for your home portrait to be completed. Shipping normally takes 3-5 days. Please contact me if you need the portrait sooner. Please contact me if you need faster shipping.

3. How do I send my photo and in what form?

Just email your photo using the email button. It will be emailed directly to jnelis@giftofportraits.com.  House portraits are best created from images that are in jpeg format. You may send us as many photos as you have of the home you would like made into a house portrait. We are happy to review them and pick the one which will give the optimum results.

4. Help my photo has telephone wires in it. The home looks crooked!

Don't worry!! Here at House Portraits Online minor touch up is included in the price. We want you to be proud of the house portrait you are giving. If there is enough detail included this is no problem. If there is an object obstructing a detail of the home, it would be helpful if you included a photo that showed any detail of the home that is obstructed.

5. What are the sizes of the house portraits when they are matted?

a) 5" x 7" house portraits overall dimensions are 8" x 10" when matted. Your portrait will be approximately 4.5" x 6.5"

b) 8" x 10" bhouse portraits overall dimensions are 11" x 14" when matted. Your portrait will be approximately 7.5" x 9.5".

** A border may be added to your house portrait if I feel that too much of the home is covered by the mat.

7. Where are you located? Are you a foriegn company?

I have been asked this question many times, due to the fact that past clients have had problems working with overseas companies. I am located in Hellertown PA and will be the only one creating the house portraits.

8. My photo was taken in the winter and I would like to see grass instead of snow in my house portrait.

This is not a problem for a $25.00 charge the season of the house photo can be changed. Since most of the work is done by hand this can be done it just takes extra time and work.
